It’s Market Day!

We’ll be taking a stall every Friday in Macclesfield’s Market Place, outside the Town Hall, from today, Friday 17th April offering a direct way to buy our locally sourced produce from farmers and producers in and around the Macclesfield area.

Fresh goods will include real bread from Langley, butter and cheese from Reaseheath College, eggs from Congleton, yoghurt from Tarporley and Treacletown pies from Macclesfield. Also on offer will be groceries including Cheshire apple juice, honey from Gawsworth and award-winning Galore preserves and chutneys.  As a social enterprise, Food4MaccDirect does not make a profit, but ensures that producers receive a fair price, with 80% of what you pay going to the producer.  All produce comes from within 50 miles of Macclesfield and over half comes from within 15 miles.

The stall will be open from 11:30am to 2pm every Friday throughout the spring and summer so come on down to sample what we have on offer.

You can also place an order for our full range of goods at the stall for collection the following week!
